A quiet place to grow into who you're becoming.
HAVII is a private app for people aged 13 to 24. Write things down, notice how you're doing, set goals that are yours — and when you're ready, talk with a vetted adult mentor who was checked before they ever reached you.
What HAVII is not
- ✕Not therapy, counseling, or a diagnosis — mentors are trained volunteers, not clinicians.
- ✕Not an emergency service. In a crisis, 988 and 911 reach people who can actually act.
- ✕Not a social network. There is no feed, no follower count, and no messaging between young people.
- ✕Not funded by your data. No ads, no trackers, nothing sold or shared, ever.
Saying this first is deliberate. A young person deciding whether to trust an app deserves to know its limits before they type anything into it.
Four things, and nothing you didn't ask for
Check in
A daily snapshot of how you are doing — a feeling, an energy level, what would help. Two minutes, no scores, no diagnosis.
Private to you. Mentors, staff, and guardians never see it.
Journal
Prompts when a blank page is too much, and a blank page when it is not. Write badly, write once, write at 2am.
Encrypted. Never read by staff or AI. Not scanned for anything.
Goals
Something real — a first job, sleep before midnight, one hard conversation — broken into steps you set yourself.
You choose per goal whether a mentor sees the title and progress.
A mentor
Only if you ask. A vetted adult volunteer, matched by a staff coordinator, text only, and yours to end whenever you want.
Monitored for safety, so not confidential — and we say so in the app.
Have a look around before you sign up for anything
Tap through the real screens. Every one of them tells you who can see what, in the app, at the moment you'd be typing — not buried in a policy.
No streak counter, no badge, no "you haven't opened this in 5 days." The support pill sits in the corner of every screen, including this one.
Pre-release build. The content here is an example, not a real person's.

iOS first. Android at the same time as the second beta site.
Eleven stages, in this order, no exceptions
Mentors are volunteers, and volunteering here takes about three weeks. That is the point. Nobody is matched because they were keen and available.

Written down so you can hold us to them
Your journal is yours
No mentor, staff member, guardian, or algorithm reads journal entries or check-in notes. There is no admin screen that can, because we did not build one.
Mentor messages are monitored
Text only, never disappearing, reviewed if reported. That means they are not confidential — and we tell young people that above every conversation, not in a policy nobody reads.
Consent is participation, not surveillance
A guardian approving a 13–17 account gets status: active, matched, ended. They do not get their child's writing, moods, or messages.
No engagement machinery
No streaks, badges, levels, or guilt notifications. Quiet hours cannot be overridden by us. Short, occasional visits are a success, not churn.
The minimum data
An age band instead of a birthday. No ad trackers. Journal and message contents never enter analytics, crash reports, or logs.
Leaving is easy
Delete your account and your entries go with it, minus the safety records a program is legally required to keep — and we name what those are.
